American Standard Version

27 Because he hath covered his face with his fatness,
And gathered fat upon his loins;
28 And he hath dwelt in [a]desolate cities,
In houses which no man [b]inhabited,
Which were ready to become heaps;
29 He shall not be rich, neither shall his substance continue,
Neither shall [c]their possessions be extended on the earth.
